0.58.6028 - Stochastic Enchantments


Now items can have stochastic (random) enchantments that can be beneficial and malicious. Items on the map and items created by Crafter now have a small chance of having those. Initially such items are not identified and only number of enchantments is visible. Identifying enchantments may be hard, the chance of success depends on player character’s level. There is a (risky) way to help with identification - to wear the unidentified item for some time. The longer the item has been equipped, the easier it is to identify its enchantments.

There is a new popup that displays a lot of useful information about an item, accessed by right-click/long-press during the game. It allows to equip/unequip the item, repair it, attempt at identifying stochastic enchantments (if the item is unequipped) and also there is a quick “?” button that will take to Vinculopedia page for full information on the base item.

And of course a bunch of bugfixes and smaller improvements, including now-customizable navel shape (6 variants :)).

  • Stamina Crafter now will craft an item if Player character’s stamina was >0, not if it was >100
  • Ring of disrobing cannot be repaired
  • Better enchantments for leaf set (regenerate health, will, stamina, move 5% faster)
  • Log shows true resting quality, not natural resting bonus
  • Allow right-clicking while moving to check what items are lying on the map (but not to give orders)
  • Use higher optimization level in Free Pascal Compiler (remove debug information in release)
  • Bugfix: potential crash when enchantment unequips or destroys its own item
  • Bugfix: enchantments now update and cause active effects only if conditions are met
  • Bugfix: clamp values of health/stamina/willpower drains, to avoid negative values
  • Bugfix: clamp value of resting quality to avoid negative values
  • Bugfix: durability degradation was shown as a negative number
  • Bugfix: Vinculopedia sets the game to pause
  • Bugfix: RequiresHealthBelow condition was never met
  • Bugfix: “fast-forward” icon was rendered on top of Pause and other UIs
  • Bugfix: some enchantments report was not accurate enough
  • Bugfix: Drain Stamina enchantment was draining stamina fraction, not absolute value
  • Bugfix: incorrect chin rendering on Paperdoll

When it's gonna be updates for this game whether I've said about living business suit and stuff?

A new update is hopefully coming soon (maybe at the end of this week?) Unfortunately I don’t think it’ll include living business suit yet.
