Version 0.14.1625 - Bugfixes


This build is still unstable - that means it still wasn’t playtested properly by me, regarding to if I didn’t break too much by the changes. However, it has already undergone some decent testing, so it can be considered “almost stable” :)

This update fixes a serious bug with movement, which manifested at low FPS and/or during resting - that monsters could move into weird coordinates.

I also tried hard to fix the bug with dash roll and sneak attacks sometimes stuck in one place and character is unable to move - even though an obvious movement direction is possible. I think (I hope) that I improved this behavior and it’s better now, but I still can reproduce situations where the character gets stuck… So there is still work to be done here.

Changelog:

  • Entrance is generated only on map corners, to avoid player being surrounded in the beginning
  • Reduce target map free area a bit
  • Fix bug with movement and large update times (especially during resting)
  • Better wall sliding during action roll (still not perfect fix, but works better than before, yet the character still gets stuck sometimes)
